The USA chant echoed through the hip auditorium of TSH Vienna as 3 of Europe’s Top American Comedians took the stage. The dark, long-legged hostess led the charge, with DJ, a free shot, and the spectacular red bar waiting for everyone to put their hand on their heart and raise the flag.
Rick Kiesewetter, an Asian-American comic, had the crowd in stitches with his anecdotes about being adopted in Japan and raised in New Jersey, his time in the US Army Intelligence in Germany, and his experiences of living in Britain. With his comedic talent, he tackled topics ranging from racism to starting comedy late in life.
Alan Henderson, a part-time comedian and full-time taco-eater stranded in Slovakia, captivated the audience with his Southern wit and confidence. He shared his experiences of growing up in a cult, fatherhood, and life in Eastern Europe, leaving the crowd in stitches.
Gus Horn, a Brazilian-American comedian, shared the challenges of relocating to Vienna and his battles with COVID, along with his travels and the ins and outs of working a corporate job during the day. He recently opened for Russell Peters and had the audience in stitches with his comedic style.
The event was a night to remember, filled with laughter and American pride.
